Reality shows on TV channels are artificially created to be dramatic just for increasing TRP-rating of channels. Quarrel of playback-singer Alka Yagnic with fellow judges as shown on sets the programme ‘Voice of India’ on Star-Plus was perhaps such an attempt with facial expression of the programme-anchor revealing enjoyment rather than tension when heated arguments between judges Alka Yagnic and Adesh Saxena were being televised. Already many other TV shows including ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) of Star-Plus channel especially were questioned for similar reasons. However Star-Plus misstep proved counter-effective when similar programme ‘Saa Re Ga Ma Pa challenge’ of Zee TV at the same hours had better TRP. Public relish atmosphere of relaxation rather than of tension in such reality shows.

Really speaking, all such befooling dramas have parallel to dramatic protests held by political parties when organisers of such protests have police-persons in confidence to use maximum force to prove their ‘protests’ successful before eyes of general public.
