VOTING FOR PRESIDENT It is misfortune for our great nation that invalid votes are found even for Presidential elections where only our honourable law-makers are entitled to vote. Otherwise also, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) should have been used because there was no preferential voting necessary this time because of direct contest between two contestants. Even in case of preferential voting, EVMs are more convenient to use where these machines may be set so that voters may push EVM buttons in a serial order of their preferential choice. Election Commission should arrange voting through EVMs for forthcoming elections for post of Vice President.
